Alex Marmitt is a Financial Advisor located at Barrington Bank and Trust in downtown Barrington, Illinois. Alex has been providing comprehensive financial planning and wealth management services to his clients for seven years. He joined Wintrust Wealth Management in 2023.

Prior to joining Wintrust, Alex worked as an advisor for JPMorgan Wealth Management and Robert W. Baird. Alex has a strong commitment to formulating a personalized plan and investment strategy for each client to ensure their strategy aligns with both their near- and long-term financial objectives. His ability to build quality relationships with his clients is what drives his approach to planning for his clients’ futures.

Alex received his Bachelor’s degree in Business Economics from the University of Kentucky and has earned his FINRA Series 7, 66, and SIE licenses. In addition, Alex also earned his Wealth Management Certified Professional (WMCP®) designation and Illinois, Florida, and Colorado Insurance license. He resides with his wife, Lauren, and dog, Benny, in the northwest Chicago suburbs.
